Our History & Products

Founded in 1998, Stoneleaf is an independent roofing merchant, importer, wholesaler, and supplier serving both the trade and the public. From day one, our business has been built on two core principles: providing high-quality roofing products and delivering exceptional customer service through our knowledgeable and experienced team.

With a combined 150 years of industry experience, our team truly “knows a thing or two about roofs.” We take pride in offering every customer honest, expert, and unbiased advice.

At Stoneleaf, we stock a comprehensive range of natural slate sourced from Wales, England, Spain, Brazil and China. All our slates are sourced directly from the quarries.

We are a stockist of a wide range of handmade clay tiles in a variety of colours. The Pembury and Danbury clay tiles are our most popular and provide a long lasting, distinctive roof on any building.

Stoneleaf are also the largest UK stockist and distributor of the globally recognised Spanish tile manufacturer, La Escandella, whose tiles have been used on landmark projects worldwide, such as Palm Island Dubai. Their range of highly engineered clay tiles, made using an H-Selection process, are unmatched by any other products on the market in quality, strength and performance.
H-Selection process means the clay tiles are kiln fired in their own cradle. By adopting this production method, the resulting tiles are blemish free, but more importantly have a lower water absorption percentage (<5%) and a higher resistance to ice and mildew.

We eagerly invite homeowners, designers, and contractors to explore our full range in person in our refurbished trade counter and demonstration centre. Alongside our slate and clay tiles, you’ll find displays of Velux and Dakea roof windows, Marley, Sandtoft, and Northstone Roof Tiles, and a selection of solar products.
