For faster installation and a secure, weather-tight seal, Stoneleaf Sovereign features integrated 40mm adhesive tapes at the laps.

Designed for use alongside Stoneleaf Sovereign underlay, the Stoneleaf Band is a premium single-sided adhesive tape engineered to seal vertical joints and overlaps seamlessly. Constructed from a highly vapour-permeable polypropylene membrane and a high-performance acrylic dispersion adhesive, it ensures the roof’s breathability remains completely continuous, even around repairs or penetrations. Fully UV-stabilised and weather-resistant, it delivers a durable, long-lasting seal in tough site conditions.

Stoneleaf PUR is a premium self-adhesive sealing tape manufactured from a heavy-duty, closed-cell cross-linked polyethylene foam. Engineered specifically to seal between the roof membrane, counter-battens, and rafters, it effortlessly takes up any structural irregularities between the timber and the underlay. Providing an effective thermal break and an water tight seal, it delivers excellent thermal performance while protecting nail penetrations from moisture ingress.

Selecting a roofing membrane ‘off the shelf’ is no longer an option; membranes must be suitable for the type and location of the building.

Parts of BS 5534 were changed in March 2015. These changes included the way roof tile underlays (RTU’s), such as breather membranes, are selected in relation to the way they are affected by the air pressures that can ‘balloon’ the membrane.
